Contributor intake
Submit a story to a GetLifeTV desk.
Community, local and global contributors can pitch any desk. Every entry is a request for private editorial review — never an auto-publish.
One hardened intake, on purpose. Submissions are received by the existing verified GetLifeTV intake at
clips.getliferecords.com/newsroom. That desk holds the approved legal terms, the byte-locked privacy/retention documents
and the operator review flow. The broadcast center deliberately has no form of its own and no write path, so there is only one
place your data can land and one set of rules governing it.Choose your desk
Community Newsroom
Events, public notices, community programs, small businesses and local stories. State “Community Newsroom” in the pitch.
The Receipts Room
Public culture disputes, viral chaos and drama that can be sourced responsibly. State “Receipts Room” in the pitch.
What happens to what you send
| Lane | What it means | Who decides |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic community candidate | A fixed-template, low-risk notice from an allowlisted source passes deterministic source, rights, disclosure, region and expiry checks. It remains release-gated and revocable. | Deterministic gate; sensitive categories excluded |
| Community note | A short verified item. Fast lane, still human-cleared. | Desk operator |
| Deeper QC | Needs a second source, rights check or claim narrowing before anything runs. | Desk operator + editorial review |
| Reported story | We report it out ourselves. Your tip is credited only if you asked to be. | Editorial review |
| Multi-asset waterfall | Strong story becomes article, video, short-form and podcast derivatives. | Editorial review + Gary Carriero |
| Declined / revoked | Ends the process. You can ask for correction, deletion or revocation at any time. | Desk operator |
Submission is not coverage, publication, payment, partnership, endorsement, placement, reach or verification. Entry permission is limited to private review and internal processing. AI training is off. Publication requires a separate, narrow selected-use rights grant that names the exact asset and the exact use.
