Corrections, deletion & revocation
How to make us fix it or take it down.
Every contributor and every subject can demand a correction, a deletion, or revocation of a rights grant.
Requests are handled by the verified newsroom desk, which holds the identity checks and the audit log:

The desk never confirms whether a given intake ID exists, does not auto-delete evidence, and does not override a lawful legal or security hold. That protects the people in the records as much as it protects the records.
What we commit to
Corrections run on the item
We fix the live asset, not just an internal note, and we say what changed and when.
Revocation is honoured live
Withdraw a rights grant and the asset comes down from the surfaces we control. We tell you which surfaces those are.
Retention has a limit
Unselected and declined intake records are purged on the published retention schedule, under operator approval, with a tombstone left behind so the deletion itself is auditable.
