Editorial standards
How GetLifeTV decides what runs.
Short version: evidence first, wording second, distribution last. Nothing publishes itself.
The rules we operate under
No auto-publish
No submission, agent, script or automation can put a story on a public GetLifeTV surface. A human operator clears it or it does not run.
Approved wording only
Every public card carries wording an operator approved and a source link the verifier successfully reached. Link reachability is not claim verification. Our renderer is technically incapable of composing a new claim.
Claims may shrink, never grow
A derivative asset may subtract from an approved claim. It may never add one that is not in the evidence ledger.
Opinion is labelled
Clapback is opinion and is marked as opinion. It is never presented as reported news.
Independence disclosure
GetLifeTV is owned and operated by GetLife Records. When we cover GetLife Records artists, releases or the founder, that ownership is disclosed on the item.
No affiliation cosplay
We are not affiliated with, accredited by, or a member of any other news organisation. Our own copy lint blocks wording that would imply otherwise.
Sensitive claims are held
Anything containing an allegation against a person is routed to a separate hold, never to a fast lane.
Corrections are public
When we get it wrong we correct the item itself and say what changed.
What we will not do
No paid-for praise. No fake engagement, bot traffic or purchased reach. No counterfeit press identity. No blanket rights grabs over contributor work. No stolen media. No coverage promised in exchange for money, access or product. No claim published without a receipt.
